Ahead of their World Cup clash against Australia on June 9, the Indian team paid a visit to the Indian High Commissioner’s residence in London on Friday.
The Indian team, along with the support staff, were pictured together with Indian High Commissioner Ruchi Ghanashyam as the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shared the images on social media.
The Indian team’s practice session on Friday was called off due to rain, leaving the Virat Kohli-led side with only one day to train ahead of Sunday’s big-ticket World Cup showdown with Australia here.

India traveled to London from Southampton on Thursday, a day after beating South Africa by six wickets in their tournament opener on Wednesday.
India began their World Cup 2019 campaign on June 5, that is six days after the start of the tournament and registered a 6-wicket win over South Africa in their first match.
Rohit Sharma hammered a century to take India home after Yuzvendra Chahal and Jasprit Bumrah restricted South Africa to 227 for 9.
